Privacy policy

Custom Coded Technology Solutions, LLC is a one-person studio operated by Michael Middlebrooks. This page describes what this website actually does with information. It is the public notice for the site, not a certification of any particular privacy program.

Inquiries

The contact form collects your name, email address, optional company, the service you select, and your message. If you submit the form, the site sends that inquiry by email through SendGrid to the business inbox. The application does not store inquiries in a database.

A hidden field is included for automated submissions. If that field is filled in, the site discards the submission and does not send email. The server also keeps a short-lived count of requests per IP address in memory, about fifteen minutes, so a single network cannot flood the form. That count is not written to a database and is not shared across every server instance.

Do not send passwords, secret keys, or payment card numbers through the form.

Advertising and analytics

When Google Ads or Google Analytics IDs are configured for this deployment, the site loads one Google tag. Without those IDs, the tag is not loaded.

Consent Mode v2 defaults advertising and analytics storage to denied in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and to granted elsewhere. A saved Accept or Reject choice overrides that default. The lead conversion event is sent only after the contact API confirms the email was sent, only once for that submission, and only when advertising measurement is allowed. The event contains a conversion destination and a random submission id. It does not contain your name, email, company, or message.

Campaign links may include UTM parameters and Google click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, and wbraid. The site keeps those values in memory for the visit. Click identifiers are written to session storage and attached to the inquiry email only when advertising measurement is allowed. UTM parameters may be included with the inquiry as context for the request. Other query parameters are not copied into analytics page paths.

Cookies and similar storage

The site may store a consent choice in local storage and a first-party cookie named cct_consent. On hosts that provide a trusted country header, it may also store a two-letter country code in a cookie named cct_country for one day. That cookie is used to decide whether a lead conversion requires an explicit choice. Google may set its own cookies when the corresponding storage consent is granted.

If the host does not provide a country, the site waits for an explicit Accept before it records a lead conversion. The Google tag, when configured, still applies its own regional consent defaults.

Sharing

Inquiry email is processed by SendGrid so it can be delivered to the business. When measurement IDs are configured and consent allows it, Google receives the tag data described above. The hosting provider can see ordinary connection data, including IP addresses, as part of serving the site. The business does not sell personal information.

Requests

To ask about an inquiry you sent, use the contact form and say that the message is a privacy request.
